Pastoral Team

  • Our Lead Pastor was born into a Christian family who dedicated him to the Lord as an infant. As a child, he decided to follow Christ and was baptized in water at the First Southern Baptist Church of Norwalk, CA. Shortly after becoming an adult, he heard God say, “You will serve Me here” at the Hawaiian Gardens Foursquare Church, CA. When the pastor taught him about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, he was filled with the Spirit. Then, the Lord called him to preach His word, so he changed career paths and began studying for the ministry at Life Bible College. While studying at LIFE, he was actively involved in planting a church, and God continued to direct his paths toward becoming a soul-winner and pastor. On May 7, 1989, he was “licensed by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel to preach, conduct services and administer religious ordinances” and received full ordination on April 5, 1992. During the past four decades, his ministry included but was not limited to evangelism, disciple-making, leadership development, church planting, missions, national church development, higher education, and denominational leadership in the U.S. and abroad.

    Occupation: He is the Lead Pastor of Armonía Church, National Administrative Multiethnic Specialist for The Foursquare Church, and Adjunct Professor at Life Pacific University.

    Education: His academic degrees include an A.A. in Administration of Justice, a Ministerial Diploma, a B.A. in Bible, a Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership, and a Doctor of Strategic Leadership.

  • Our Associate Pastor was born on the mission field into a Christian family who dedicated her to the Lord as an infant. As a child, she decided to follow Christ and was baptized in water at Cornerstone Latino in Anaheim, CA. While at Cornerstone, she was filled with the Spirit, trained through the Missionettes mentoring program, and found her calling to serve the Lord and others. She pursued higher education at Life Pacific University and, upon graduation in 2018, received her ministerial credential from The Foursquare Church, followed by full ordination in 2020.

    Occupation: She is the Associate Pastor of Armonía Church and a Sr. Marketing Associate for Harper Collins Christian Publishing.

    Education: Her academic degrees include a B.A. in Biblical Studies and Human Development and Psychology.

JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (He. 13:8)

  • The cross represents the death of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross carrying our sins with Him as the perfect sacrifice “and through him to reconcile to himself all things… by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross” (Colossians 1:20, NIV). Red represents the shed blood of Jesus that washes away our sins so we are able to stand before God clothed in robes of righteousness and declared redeemed and justified “since we have now been justified by his blood” (Romans 5:9, NIV).

  • The dove, a symbol of the Holy Spirit as is seen at the Baptism of Jesus by John in the Jordan River, represents the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him” (Matthew 3:16, NIV). The gold again is a symbol of the fire of the Holy Spirit as was seen on the Day of Pentecost in the upper room.

  • The cup represents the anointing oil as we are instructed, “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up” (James 5:14-15, NIV).

  • The crown represents the Coming King, with the purple showing the royalty of Jesus Christ who will return very soon to catch His bride away to be with Him forever “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever” (I Thessalonians 4:16-17, NIV). “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:16, NIV).
